Uni-Forge’s Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic
Uni-Forge continues to conduct business as usual under a normal schedule, however the safety and well-being of our employees and customers is always our highest priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus pandemic and putting in place proactive measures to keep our communities safe and operational.
At Uni-Forge, all employees have been provided comprehensive information about the virus, while reiterating the importance of following a good personal hygiene routine. In addition, directives have been implemented in accordance with international health guidelines and information provided by World Health Organization (WHO).
Global updates on the current situation are regularly communicated with all teams, as well as, all Uni-Forge teams across our network, have been advised to contact their local health authorities to get specific updates of their country and local community to best support our employees and customers. Uni-Forge’s response includes restricting travel, limiting physical interactions in the workplace, distribution of staff to minimize overlap of resources, encouraging virtual meetings, methods to measure supply chain readiness and monitoring the health of all individuals in/visiting the facilities.
While we are putting in place contingencies and rolling out business continuity plans to minimize disruption, there may be certain supply chain disturbances from causes beyond our control that result in unforeseen delays with delivery schedules. Please know that Uni-Forge is committed to communicating any delays promptly and accurately during these challenging times.
